TimeTable :

During june I have the soc and a project for my school :
31 may - 4th june : learn some about Solid and KDE lib
5th june - 11th june : I see the source of Kformat and I try to compile it with QT4 (I make some modification to have the library for QT4).
12th- 25th june : I add the integration for KDE, to add left click to the unit and we have the menu to format). I hope I have sufficient time because these week I have to write a report for my school and I must to finish my project in england.
After I will add the autodetection, I think it will take lot of time but I have only this to do during this summer. I will make a new timetable in the end of june to the rest of work.

My project :

I want to make a tool to simplify the format of floppy, USB drive or others devices which must be formatted before using it. It must have the option availlable in mkfs, or some more but the choice can be coose in graphic mode. A autodetection of device will be add to have the good size for the drive.
I will ask to the user for the filesystem but a standard choice will be proposed to the user, to help the beginners.
When a empty non formatted media will be inserted, Kformat is automaticly launched.
I use to code this QT4 and if this library can be used in 1 month(actually in devellopement), I use Solid.

Hello everybody!

I am Mickael Minarie, I am actually in England to do a live project module in the university of Teesside. This project finished on June 26th and in the same time, I will code for KFormat, a tool to format device for KDE. I hope I succeed to do the twice correctly.

About me : I am a student in university of clermont-ferrand (France) in computing science, option system. I like computing, music, photography and travelling. My english isn't perfect now and if you see some midtake, please tell to me.

Je suis Mickael Minarie, je suis actuellement en angleterre pour faire un projet dans le cadre de mon stage de fin d'etude dans l'université de teesside (Middlesbrough). Mon projet se finit le 26 juin et en même temps, je vais coder KFormat, un outil de formattage pour KDE.

Je suis un etudiant à l'IUT de clermont-ferrand en informatique, option SI. J'aime bien l'informatique, la musique, la photographie et les voyages.
